Three zodiac signs that are known as the “earth signs” are Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. These signs add a sense of practicality and dependency, as well as a sense of being grounded in one’s values.
Taurus
The sign of Taurus is set at 60 degrees and is a fixed sign. Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus, which focuses on love, beauty, and luxury. Taurus has a great appreciation for the luxurious pleasures and wishes to experience them through all five senses. When in balance Taurus is steady, financially stable, and has the ability to experience life through their senses with ease and balance. However when suppressed, Taurus can become possessive and stubborn.
Virgo
The sign of Virgo is set at 180 degrees and is a mutable sign. Virgo is ruled by the planet Mercury, which focuses on communications and thought patterns. Virgo finds fulfillment in being able to serve others in a way that brings both them and who they are serving joy. Virgo can also be a bit of a perfectionist at times. When suppressed or out of balance, Virgo experiences a great deal of self doubt, worry, and anxiety which leads to negative self talk. When in balance Virgo experiences the opposite of those feelings in which they are grounded and becomes better at serving not just others, but themselves as well.
Capricorn
The sign of Capricorn is set at 300 degrees and is a cardinal sign. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, which focuses on restriction, life lessons, and responsibility. Capricorns perform well and often under pressure and have no difficulty finishing what they start. When out of balance, they have the tendency to focus so much on their work to the point of obsession and can become emotionally distant.
