Three zodiac signs that are known as the “water signs” are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces. These signs are empathic, highly sensitive, intuitive, and some may possess psychic abilities. These zodiac signs are big on focusing on the subconscious, triggers, emotions, and the shadow self.

Cancer

The sign of Cancer is set at 120 degrees and is a cardinal sign. Cancer is ruled by the Moon, which deals with emotions and habits. Cancer takes on the role of a mother and presents a feminine energy. Cancer is nurturing and is a healer. When out of balance, because Cancer gives so much to others, they leave little self protection for themselves and have trouble setting boundaries. They also tend to project their pain and shadow self onto others and tends to play the victim of the situation.

Scorpio

The sign of Scorpio is set at 240 degrees and is a fixed sign. Scorpio is ruled by the planet Pluto, which focuses on transformation and major change. Scorpio is also ruled by Mars, which focuses on lust and ferocity. Scorpios are no one to be messed with. They bring a level of intensity to everything that they do and are able to look beyond the surface. Many Scorpios may find themselves interested in the dark arts, the occult, shamanism, hypnosis, and psychotherapy. When out of balance Scorpios tend to hurt others to hide the fact that they are hurting themselves. They also have a tendency to rely on power, money, and sex as not only an outlet but to have some sort of control of themselves and their environment when they are not emotionally clear and stable.

Pisces

The sign of Pisces is set at 360 degrees and is a mutable sign. Pisces is ruled by the planet Neptune, which is focused on creativity, illusion, and vision. Pisces are compassionate, empathic, and connected with the people they surround themselves with. They think and dream outside of the box. When out of balance they tend to self medicate and turn to apathy to shake off their discomfort.
